I replaced a faulty 45/5 µF dual capacitor in the HVAC system. The existing capacitor had failed, which was affecting both the compressor and fan motor operation. After safely disconnecting power to the unit, I removed the old capacitor and installed a new 45/5 µF dual capacitor, ensuring proper connections to the compressor and fan circuits. Once the replacement was complete, I restored power and tested the system. The HVAC unit is now running smoothly, with improved reliability and performance.
Today I performed a George flight club complete system check up on two units. I found the both units were operating within manufacture specifications. Both systems were operating correctly at this time.
