Today I showed up for an annual tune up on two split gas furnace, here my findings. I found that all components on both systems were operating within manufacturer's specification. Nothing further at this time.
Today I performed a second opinion on a split furnace. I found the furnace ignition system was all working properly. As well as all components of the furnace. The blower, capacitor and control board all look recently replaced and all in working order. System is getting a 20° temperature split. At the condenser I did find the disconnect box had melted. Also, there was a weak, dual capacitor for the compressor and outdoor fan motor. Causing both motors to have a high amp draw after. Upon replacing the capacitor, the amps went down and system was running quieter. Disconnect box was also replaced with a fused disconnect. Upon departure system components are all functioning correctly and cooling and heating properly.
Quote out cleaning entire system and installing a new 5 ton heat pump.
Replaced a 12" electronic damper in the attic. Removed the faulty damper and installed a new one, ensuring secure connections and proper alignment. Tested the new damper for correct operation, confirming it opens and closes as required. Verified the HVAC system's cooling performance to ensure the damper's functionality. The system is now cooling correctly, providing efficient temperature control throughout the home. Cleaned the work area and informed the homeowner about the completed repair.
Upon inspection I found a bad 12” supply damper for zoning system to be bad. Need to find the damper and give quite to replace.

Cleared line with two swoosh cartages
Will give estimate on 2 ton mini split for garage. High voltage is already ran to the garage. Would need to install junction box in attic and run electrical to outdoor condenser.
